Do a youtube search for "Battlefield Bad Company Soundtrack: Radio Spirit" to find the ones from the game. Most (or all) of them are old negro spirituals, so I suppose the genre would be considered a form of gospel. Try searching for a group called "The Golden Gate Quartet" with songs like "The Sun Didn't Shine". Also a man named "Muddy Waters" has some great stuff that's similar in a way, but is mostly considered the blues. I also personally love Jimmy Reed. You should take a listen!

Although it could last longer, it is to me one of the most emotionally dramatic masterpieces. Sometimes I can turn on my PS3, just to listen to this piece for hours.
