How to prepare and cook Healthy Recipes:
PICADILLO (Cuban Beef Hash)

3 pound of (Lean) ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium green pepper, cored, seeded and chopped
3 garlic gloves, minced
11/2 cup tomato sauce
1 cup vino seco or dry white wine
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon oregano 
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flake
1 bay leaf
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup pimento-stuffed green olives (cut in half)
4 tablespoons olive oil

  • Picadillo is eaten in all parts of latin america BUT prepared in different ways with different spices! Soo the way its prepared here is a CUBAN way

  • My grandmother had this inside a baked pie shell. She called in an empanada. Is this the main stuffing for it?
