A garment is not completely well made unless all of the edges are finished and clean. Unless you are into deconstruction then never mind.

  • Thanks! Really good information and easy to understand. The only request I have is for you to slow down. Coming from a fast talker, I know it's easier said than done.

  • @ThirdCoastGrrl haha I Know...I just go blahblahblah ..and sometimes I don't even know what I am saying! I will sure try..but it's so uncomfy for me cuz I think in my head I sound stupid.....do u feel that way when u try to slow down?

  • BUBBLE POP!

  • Thank you so much!! Both my parents know how to sew and do sew pretty well (seeing as they don't have too much practice) and I love to create things, my sewing machine and I are good companions. My mom had taken courses in her high school and has taught my dad pretty well (he is more precise). He only uses the rolled hem. -___-

Next basics idea: Box shirt. boatpeoplevintage have a good video. What's your take?

  • I ALWAYS iron my hems so they'll stay in place better when sewing it. It takes a little more time, but it tends to help me work more organized and correct.

  • My fashion design teacher told me sheers is not a way to finish fabric... I hated him though and I let him know, he was so hard on my drawings, he always gave me a 7 out of 10

  • whats the difference between 3, 4, and 5 thread sergers?

  • Hem means Home in swedish

  • More sewing videos please!!! :D

  • Your next sewing video can you also include what the width, tension, length and stitches number you used ...please thank!!!! I'm a beginner and would love to learn.. Your video is pretty awesome...please reply back
