there is no such thing as the last one, i am american, i love my country, but we never had an empire, and 95% of the land you have shown in that map was never under US control! again i'm american, but any one with a head knows the largest, and greatest empire in the world was the empire of The Royal Majesty the Monarch of Britain, the British empire is the greatest empire hands down, we americans don't count, we're a nation, not an empire.

@gigaboot2 how do you think your nation has been so successful ? because we colonised the americas , we fought off the french the dutch the spanish all of whom tried to form an alliance to defeat us , a small little island off mainland europe and we dominated the world ! your forefathers are all british , you originate from GREAT britain , you speak the ENGLISH language , and still british economics are taught all over the world based on that of the empire and you are just hated by all !

@gigaboot2 and obviously lets not forget the fact of you say "us and you" lets just cast our mind back to the time when people in your land were chucking spears and smoking mushrooms until civilised european countries colonised your lands , a common quote i hear from americans is "you would be speaking german if it wasent for us" well you would be speaking spanish or french like your neighbours to the north and south if it wasent for us so you will always just be british people abroad !
