The Return to Goddess Worship

The christian conception of feminine sexuality turns on the opposition between virgin (good) and whore (bad).
This is very different from pre-Christian goddess worship.
The Goddess, in her many guises and manifestations, was the most holy figure on earth for thousands of years and yet she has been so successfully eradicated that the majority of western women have simply no idea that she even existed, let alone had the religous awe and captivating power that she emanated.
The return to goddess worship could be a reaction to the objectification of women on the internet and pornography in general.
Taken from the show Sex, Death and Desire, written and directed by John Simmons of Ouch! Media and founding member of Critchley and Simmons. The amazing dance at the end of this video is a performance by members of Chinese Art Ensemble of disabled people, all the dancers are deaf. It was broadcast on China Central Television during the Spring Festival Eve Variety Show on February 8, 2005. Their instructors stood at the sides of the stage and waved their hands to count the beats.

For starters women are STILL fighting to get equal pay. Also look at The White House, the Legal/Justice System, Educational Sys., Entertainment Industry, Finance Depts., Medical Industry, Medicine, Real Estate Dept, Manufacturing, Corporations, etc. All are highly lacking in Women representatives. There is an overwhelming imbalance of equality there. Most positions of power are filled by MEN! Most higher educators are MEN! We are terribly lacking in equality. But it WILL CHANGE, JERK!
