This was posted as a video response to Johnny Dunkum who videod himself after his acoustic neuroma op.After neurosurgery in 1994 to remove an acoustic neuroma.(a benign tumour from the acoustic nerve/brain stem region).I still have partial facial paralysis and deafness/tinnitus in the left ear and occasional balance problems. Not to mention good days and bad days.I had a gold weight implant in my eyelid and a few minor ops on that eyelid also to try to protect the eye.I don't know if the gold weight has helped me.I wish it wasn't there.I don't let it stop me doing anything.I work full time and enjoy a variety of pusuits .So if other acoustic nueroma sufferers are reading this.Stay positive and live your life to the fullest.Stay happy.I wish you well.Sandy.
Thank you for sharing, I'm going in on 10/29/09 - good to see someone 15 years down the line!
