Iron Faith - "on the rise"

a song about christian erections ....I was in a xtian heavy metal band when I was 16 called Iron Faith. This is from our first show on April 22nd 1990 at San Bernardino Community Church ...theres proof when Shane yells out "Welcome to San Bernardino Community Church!" at the end of the song... totally!

Two things to point out. Our little pretentious intro didnt quite go as well as planned. This was partially due to the fact that we made one of our friends, someone who had never played guitar before, the "guitar tech". His tuning skills left a little to be desired. There is also a great part when Shane sings "when you see the light" and the circuit for the lights blows.

So, thats me on the bass with the Britney Fox hair and singing back up. Shane sang, made awkward moments happen and thought wearing some god awful MC Hammer purple suit was acceptable. Chad(d) is playing the hot pink Kramer and is a dazzling display of "Loreal Excellence #9 Platinum Blonde" which I think made him tone-deaf. He then went on to HED (pe) who we're all tone-deaf as well. Brent played the drums, made facial contortions and cow noises all while having the most rank foot smell known to man ...."death from below!"

Sounds great sonically, but the vocals are a bit drowned out

Good stuff! And we still have those same fake trees in the sanctuary at SBCC. They took down the big dove and rainbow stripe a few years ago, though.
