@masonjarjar The difference with nazareth is that their prime was during their stripped down years- Hair of the Dog is incredibly raw
-
that crap lasted longer then the grunge shit and it is making a come back as well so it can't be that bad
-
@masonjarjar Although the Sykes-era did produce some pretty good songs. But yeah, this version is superior.

@vequintana Damn straight.
-
@musashihumar you bet.

@rongatai I like the clip line up too! But Neil Murray played on the album. Not Colin Hodgkinson. And Cozy Powell only actually played on the Slide It In album. They joined prior to the tour and video shoot.

@musashihumar Fuck yeah!

I love everything about this version except for the solo. I think the '87 version fits the song a little better. The lull that this version's solo goes into just doesn't fit.

Wait... Was that Cozy Powell playing drums?

I just wished he had said 'drifter' instead of 'hobo' in this version. Otherwise, this version is better than the 1987 version.
Much more emotion in this original version. Great line up in this clip.

This definately has a "pre-hair metal" sound to it.. like old Aerosmith or Nazareth.. before they busted out all the hairspray and completely over-tracked everything. It's more down to earth and honest. Sounds like old MSG or Rainbow. Not like Warrant or Winger or Poison or all that crap that came later.
