@88Thyra Some people always think being proud of origins is discriminating against all other ancestry.They will never learn.Don't know if you're into rap,but there was a clip by N.W.A (a good band mind you)at the beggining the members tear through an large poster with "Im black and im proud" on it and VEVO censored the poster.Ironically the song was called "Express yourself"

@97Grimsta The Vikings occupied mainly northern Scotland.

Some islands north of Scotland even spoke a Germanic dialect (the Norn language). Also, a lot of Irish people still share northern european characters (blue eyes, blond hair). Check wikipedia for further info. ;)

@Hogo69 Scotland & Ireland was home to the Celtics, not absolutely sure on Scotland's part. I have ancestral roots their as well. Anyway, the vikings resided in Scandinavia, primarily in Norway under the leadership of the most notable viking Lief Ericson ( how I think you spell it) Who were feared raiders/pillagers through-out Europe & elsewhere. But, they could have occupied these territories, not exactly sure though haven't seen any historical evidence of it before.
