There was a significant amount of increased airflow with the new header pipes. The HD stock pipe that runs underneath the frame is flat, which results in an uneven distribution of air flow. The customer said the bike ran like his V-Rod after we installed the new pipes and mufflers.

was there a very big power diff. by getting rid of the stock head pipes with the CAT in them and going with these head pipes?

@TitanCycleCustoms was there a big difference in sound. i have a 2009 r.k. changed to slip on v&h standard ovals. i was not impressed with sound(thought it sucked). i just ordered v&h dresser duals to replace the stock headers, hope that works. based on your proffesional experience do you think it will make a big difference.... thks

@gonzbratz4 . The High Output mufflers sound so much nicer and are louder the the ovals. The duals on this particular application was much better because the entire length of the exhaust pipes maintained their original form, as oppsed to the stock pipes that are flat underneath the frame, whichwas restricting alot of air flow to the left side.
