@zzfan1 Yes I do, apparently at the time Hot Wheels doesn't have the permission and the license to make the Delorean but they still took the shape of the car and changed every detail on it and Delorean is okay with that and give it a different name in order to produce the car and not get sued. P.S, I have the same car and the Delorean that they produced in 2010. ;)

Or hypnotized everyone who watches the commercial

For some reason old hot wheels commercials are really creepy. There's something about the voice of the announcer and name of the company (Matel) that makes it sound like one of those shoes where the tv hypnotized someone.

i wish toy ads was like that

@nerfterritory67 He's right. The similarities to a DeLorean are plain to see; on the other hand, it looks nothing like a Ferrari.

EY, I was the one who compiled all of these Hot Wheels 1968-'82 commercials back in 1993! It took quite a lot of digging to find them all + hours of studio time to edit them on VHS!. Great to see them on YT. Someone asked why there aren't any commercials 1973. From what I learned from my research, the reason why is because Mattel filed for bankruptcy after the Handlers were charged with cooking the company's books, so they were forced to pull out all of their ad dollars.
