Rannedradda, the tricycle style (Narrow Front) tractors were popular from the 1930s to the 1960's.
This style was designed for row-crop work (corn etc.) with the front wheels traveling in the space between corn rows and the rear wheels following down parallel rows.
The tricycle style disappeared as tractors became generally bigger, front mounted loaders and all wheel drive tractors became more common.
The 806 shown was also available with a Narrow Front as an option.
