Oh, I know it's a hallucination. I'm just saying that the scene sets you up to understand what House is doing.

And the creepy/crazy thing about this moment is it's also foreshadowing for later in the episode: it shows that House already knows his assistants well enough to make up what they might say in any situation. And since he's hallucinating nearly the whole episode, he's spending much of the episode doing exactly that! :O
