thats what i like about traps is if you dont want small fish you just widen the opening but if you can take what you get you just make it small cause i would enjoy to go to a lake and be pullen huge fish one after the other cause ive heard stories of my uncle doing exactly that somewhere in wyoming

nice trap, is it supposed to float around the lake or sink to the bottom? Have you caught anything since?

Thanks for the compliment! You should try to make one too. I used Gorilla brand glue to hold it together. Its good stuff but you have to follow the directions or it won't hold. Good luck.

Dude, you soak wood fish traps for a week or so in a barrel of water at home before you take them to the lake. That way they're water-logged and will sink with little to no weight.
