Agriculture, Animal Science, and the Meat Laboratory at Hawkeye Community College

www.hawkeyecollege.edu- The agriculture business, agriculture science, and animal science programs at Hawkeye Community College prepare students to excel in the career of their choice. Hawkeye's 400-acre Farm Lab utilizes new and up-to-date facilities and equipment to provide students hands-on experience with the latest production and management techniques. Students can participate in livestock judging teams, field trips, and presentations from industry representatives.
The recently constructed meat laboratory enables students to participate in every step of the meat preparing process and is designed to emulate a real working meat locker.
