My dad died a few years ago, but shortly before he did, he gave me a list of songs to see if I could get hold of them on the web. They were mostly obscurities from the fifties and sixties such as this. I didn't recognise the name of the track when written down, but as soon as I heard it, it instantly came back to mind. Richard Park was a bit before my time but I must have remembered it from listening to it through the wall when I was in my bed and my folks were listening to Clyde at night.

love this song for a few reasons
It's a little eerie, or maybe surreal would be the way to describe it. Definitely the best version, which says a lot, given all the artists who've done this song.

Haunting is the best way to describe this song. It is the best bar non. It was great growing up in the 50's with the best ever music. Non better since. Thank you for the great memories I still hang onto from my High School "Hurting" days. This version of sweet Dreams is from his hurting heart. You can hear his tears in this song. The best ever.
