Comedian Mike Birbiglia has appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman, Late Night With Conan O'Brien, The View, and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. In 2008, Mike Birbiglia teamed up with producer Nathan Lane to present "Sleepwalk With Me," a painfully funny one-person show about first love, denial, and how the sleepwalking disorder that nearly killed him might have saved his life. The New York Times called the show "Simply perfect," and it was twice extended, earning Mike nominations for both a Drama Desk Award and an Outer Circle Critics Award for "Best Solo Performance." The Boston Globe has described Mike's stories this way: "As honest as any Richard Pryor confession and as engaging and inclusive as an old Bill Cosby record." Mike is a popular contributor to shows as diverse as "The Bob & Tom Show" and "This American Life." In 2009 Mike headlined his own Comedy Central tour, called the "I'm in The Future Also" Tour. He performed standup in more than 30 cities and universities across the country. Mike Birbiglia is also hard at work on his next comedy album and next one-hour special, and is currently working on a screenplay adaptation of "Sleepwalk With Me," as well as a collection of short stories to be published by Simon & Schuster. Mike Birbiglia is a very busy guy.

The hippopotamus clip from Deadly 60 really surprised me. Hippos will methodically stalk and kill a human and they don't fuck around. They are fast, silent and nearly undetectable when submerged, until your boat flips over, and their tusks can go through your bones no problem. I'm gonna watch that one again. Can't remember if it's on YT. Bears kill for logical reasons. Hippos just like killing, it's true.
