best lapping tutorial on YT yet great job!!! ill be doing my first valve job on a SOHC 8 valve head and feel way more confident after seeing ur vid thanks!!

Wow saw this a little late in the game. LOL! nice tips. I found filling the inlet tracks with rubbing alcohol after with springs in is also a good test if you don't have blue. I used some fancy BMW grind paste did the treat on the BSA. Will enjoy watchin your vids, honest and straight forward approach.

Petrol or alcohol into the ports is a great way to check the valves seal.
my tin of paste is about 20 years old LOL and its still half full :-D

The first time grind down valves job[1969] it took me just as long to do it as it took you to upload your video.I was so scarred to screw it up!

They can take a while depending on the state of them.
Good job I like grinding valves, there is something quite calming about the job,
never got on to light yet though ;-D
