@Imaculata its not just the monitor that determines brightness.. while settings do play a factor you also have to consider how old/burned out the monitor is. As well, not all video cards are equal. My monitor is considerably brighter by default before i install my video drivers (nvidia).. but after they are installed it goes a lot darker because nvidia changes the settings so colors are more "vibrant" - ie, your light colors lighter and your darker colors darker.

omg loved it,the only thing which bugged me was the shader,i know it was supposed to be dark in there,but the shader was a bit,over the top,dont u think?

Yes, it did turn out a bit darker on some monitors then I originally intended. There also seems to be a large contrast difference between watching the trailer on a flatscreen and on a regular monitor. For the second trailer I boosted the contrast a bit so it is more on the safe side. Darkness can add a lot of mood, but things do have to remain some what visible.

The Mad King, Bonedragon, Bonebridge and environment were made from scratch. Many of the textures had to be made by stitching together screenshots. Malafide and Daniel's model were ripped from memory, as well as some Guild Wars props, such as the Xunlai chests. Everything was rigged and animated in 3DSMax. I'm glad you liked it so much. With a bit of effort, I bet we can do even better than this.
