This was the first martial arts movie I ever saw! Back then at the tender age of 8, I thought this movie was so shocking and violent. I saw it on HBO with my sister and my female friend. It was painful to watch. I distinctly remember the mule kick that cracked the guard's helmet at 2:13.

I saw this on cable when I was 12. It DID annihilate every concept I had about human strength, conditioning, and endurance.
