Well, this movie was much better than absolute trash Universal Soldier: The Return but much worse than original one. Also I prefer Made-For-TV films Universal Soldier 2: Brothers in Arms and Universal Soldier 3: Unfinished Business (both in 1998) with Matt Battaglia. Van Damme and Lundgren are too much old for such kind of films. Their "Best" was left in the 90's plus Lundgren's character looked useless

U.Soldier.In the 1. have very much nice dialoges and very funny too.But the action scene not so much like in the 3.The 3. is amazing with very real and bloody fights but not so much nice dialog.The best ones the 1. and the 3.And the Tv episodes are horrible bad ones.My opinion the 3. movie is the best action film in the 2000's years!

@Magnolia296 I thought Van Damme's age just gave the movie a certain real feeling. I mean for once the evolution of the movie follows the actor's. Both Van Damme and Lundgren looked like veterans soldiers in the story and furthermore they had a background to sustain this aspect. Certainly not an epic movie but considering the trash we get to watch nowadays it was a good action film and a swell sequel.

The GR13's ( Lundgren ) participation was too short, in my opinion. He was the coolest character on the movie.

@Magnolia296 Wake up to yourself. Van Damme's only in his 50's and he could skill kick your ass. All of the moves he did in this film were his own, no stunt doubles. Harnesses where necessary, but he and Lundgren kicked each other's asses all over the place. Not to mention this was based after all of the other Unisol movies, where Luke is still renowned as one of the best Blacktower projects. Dickheads these days, don't know their shit.
