Still think there is a difference between Dems & Rep? Bush's Admin ushered in the Pat Act, but Obama signed an extension. Bush is not the Devil, but Obama isn't a Messiah either. Both are politicians, working for the folks who own DC, for which I hold in the same esteem as I do Used Car Salesmen.

Unbridled power to make these decisions should not be put in the hands of under experienced appointees whose allegiance to a political party makes them controllable. Targeting unsuspecting political rivals by usurping ones authority deserves comment and debate.

Law enforcement agents consulting with known drunken, pill popping, dope smoking criminal informants, or romantically involved informants or business competitor informants need to rethink those strategies and should use some discretion when picking an informant. Allowing oneself to be tricked into doing others dirty work does not make one any less responsible. Some type of criteria ought to be in place. continued.....................

Manipulating valuable law enforcement time and resources via the Patriot Act should be a crime. Those responsible for wasting the time of our branches of law enforcement should be prosecuted, sued, fined, fired or demoted. There are too many other serious problems to be dealt with. Fabricating facts and political back stabbing are distractions from real issues. continued.........
