  • No matter how many times I hear this song it makes me cry. But in a good way because it kinda sends out a happy message at the same time as being heartbreaking. This is one of the songs I wish I had written. Absolutely amazing.

  • @41i5onfu1op,...."crying in a good way",..I like that!

    Thanks.

  • Just seen todays Guardian and Billy Bragg's comment about the work he did through the hospice working on this song ."Though the hardest part of living is giving up what has been given "

  • @pizzafox52,..Yes it was quite sad to read when he was asked if he had any regrets throughout his career.

To which he replied; “Yes. A few years ago I worked on a record called We Laughed with some incredible women in a hospice. We got the album to No 11 in the charts. But now that those women are no longer with us, I sometimes wonder whether I could have done more for them”.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  • This song always makes me cry but I love its message . Treasure the moments we have with friends and family as none of us know what's round the corner .

  • @pizzafox52,.Sad but so very true!

  • @mog1946 ,I know St Joseph’s fairly well, I live close by and my mother worked there for a while, and you’re right the staff are really caring… I clicked on your channel and have to say you left a Beautiful tribute to your wife. Take Care and Thanks.
