@Roflmafao #11 was not retired. Dressing room politics dating back to 1994-5 split the dressing room, which is why they thought taking the captaincy away from Linden was best. Of course, I f'n hate Keenan and Messier and they could've done it better, but there was a legit reason why Linden's captaincy was taken away. Just an FYI.

If you are a true fan, that final call in game #6 could almost bring a tear to your eye because of how much heart Vancouver (Linden) played with... By far one of the most disappointing turnouts in Stanley Cup finals ever, Rangers did not at all deserve that cup, it's so easy to win, when the calls are so heavy in your favor! doesn't matter anyways, the Rangers have become a joke since then, trying to buy a cup ever since... how can you like a team that had, Hull, Messier and Avery.
