  • KNUCKLE CURVE!!!!

  • @saxyhugs You're confusing shyness with selfishness. Few players have ever loved the game of baseball more than him. His concentration and dedication to the game--not its side shows--is what made him a great pitcher destined for the Hall. That's all that matters here--not whether he does some Travel Channel-like "an American in Japan" tourist promo for Entertainment Tonight just to satisfy you. Staying in you hotel room doesn't make you "an aloof tool." You don't know Mike Mussina. I do.

  • @fek2000 Mussina does not exude class." you know he stayed in his hotel the two games he dind't pitch in Japan, like all the other pitchers did on their off days? i think he's an aloof tool.

  • @EggManRaid His stats are amazingly similar to Bob Feller...except he has MORE wins, FEWER losses, MORE strikeouts, FEWER walks--all in less innings than Feller. He is a mortal lock for the Hall. I'll be there for the speech.

  • @fek2000 His a sure on hall of famer.

  • mad respect for the man!!!

  • my favoritte picher mike mussina de best¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¿

  • One of the classiest things any athlete can do is retire before he embarrasses himself on the field. Many pitchers in Mike's situation held on way too long just to get to 300 wins or make a few million more dollars because they didn't save enough from their earlier years in the game.

Mike Mussina retired on top--heck he won 20 games. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame for first rate career from the first day to the last day. Total class.

  • I know....I love mike and with all he did for the team....

I wish he could get like some sort of honorary ring or something...lol

If anyone deserves it it's Moose;......:)

  • Poor Moose...his situation is just like Don Mattingly's. If he had played just one more year, he could have gotten a ring...I really wish he would have stayed with us through 2009.
