Eileen Clancy, a videographer with I-Witness who reported on protests and police actions at the RNC in New York in 2004, was one of the journalists detained in St. Paul while RNC security forces searched their equipment, notes and belongings. She speaks moments after her release from custody. More coverage at www.tcdailyplanet.net/RNC2008
All of these videos highlight the need for independent journalists and videographers such as these. Without them, we'd have to rely solely on the mainstream media for news coverage of these events - a media owned and controlled by the very same people the protestors are referring to. The bias is obvious, "goodness" always applied to the elite while citizens are villified. If police/FBI/SS are able to get away with taking away journalists cameras &recording equip., the danger is obvious.

We have no free press. We have corporate-owned/controlled 'repeaters'. Some of the so-called 19 terrorists have been found alive. Bin laden is dead according to Benazir Bhutto. You can find all of this on youtube. See 'America, Freedom to Fascism', if you want to know where we are headed.

If you aren't part of the controlled MSM or doing their spin, You will be harassed and "detained" on bogus charges under the New Homeland Anti-terror, Constitutional destroying, laws that allow police and government to violate anyone's civil right. Wow, The power on 19 terrorist over the most powerful nation has come true. After 9/11 were swore we won't let the terrorist win...But now they have, even if you buy the "official" BS story!
