SOUND. If referring to flash suppression, the word flash is always involved. A flash suppressor just suppresses muzzle flash while a "suppressor" does both sound and flash. Just like you army fucks to have no idea what your talking about, yet still act as if you do. SEMPER FI

Bigplayer, your a fucking idiot! And you give infantry a bad name for sounding like one. Even if you did train using "silencers" in the army, its no surprise they taught you wrong. @metalfrommaine That's not technically true. In the U.S. anyone that can legally own a firearm can legally own a suppressor, you do not need an FFL. What you DO need is a completed ATF Form 4 and the tax stamp. It is a $200 tax stamp for any Class III (NFA) Weapon. It's a hurdle to jump through but it can be painlessly done.
