I got yelled at for my description on the report. "Since this is a legal document, would you mind editing the description of the incident" Apparently "some wonderful individuals let themselves into my unlocked car and took my property" Was not succinct enough. LMAO!
They even provided an example "parked our car on the street, driveway, parking lot... I did not lock the vehicle... when I returned to the vehicle, I discovered someone had stolen the listed property... there was no sign of forced entry or damage to the vehicle)." WHICH OF COURSE I USED hahahaha

What an awful story about your car and especially the loss of the Garmin. Insurance companies make me crazy. Sorry. You had me chuckling with the slot and the drop down list. For heaven's sake. Nice to see you and your hair again! That is just plain horrible. I would be really mad. Our home was robbed 15 years ago and it feels horrible to have someone go through your stuff and steal. I'm glad they did not do much damage to it. Bummer that insurance companies can cancel policy's that have filed a claim. Just wants to make you claim more to get your money's worth. I left my car unlocked (by accident) ONCE, and that night someone got in it and stole my CD's (remember them?)... but my point is this... yes i should have locked the car but WHY was it stolen from that one time? Does this mean that someone tries to get into it every night or did they just try that one time and were damn lucky
