Atheism Week Day 5: Will Fido go to heaven?

but someone told me, "god is my rock" means that god is energy, that he is literally THE earth, he is the sea, the sky, the sun, the mountains (rocks) he is energy and a life force, not a being. :o

If you would truly think that after someone says "God is my rock" there is something wrong. As I said, it's a lyric to a song. What about the famous song, "I am a rock"? Do you also believe the artist that sang that is a physical rock?

you missed my point entirely, there are some who believe that god doesn't have the form of a physical being, but that for example, the sun is his eye, watching over us, so in that regard, he IS the earth. its not what i believe.. Im an atheist, this is me giving you another perspective from a believer friend who believes that god is a life force, that he IS the earth, and not a person. i hope you understand now XD.

Ohhhh! Yeah, I understand now. Well, if that is how that beliver looks at, sure, that's great. I don't view it like that at all, as I believe in everything the bible says is true. Meaning God is neither a person or earth, but, in fact, a god! He did give us His Son in human form, and He created us in His image, so He does LOOK like a human (in my belief).

...not a metaphor, and certainly from the old testament. In the old testament, God was building a promised land for His people, somewhere where Satan couldn't be. Thus, this verse, whichever verse you're using. In the new testament, Jesus dies so that anyone can come to God, and you don't need sacrifices, or killing, or anything. Something you atheists don't seem to get.

3. Why are there so many fossils if evolution is not real? This is quite funny, actually. As an atheist, you're always looking for "proof". How is fossils possibly "proof" of evolution? It's hardly even evidence, and there is lots of evidence that God exists!

It's true that many Christians are actually like this, and I pray for them. But there is truly answers to all these questions that aren't as you have portrayed.
1. Will Fido go to Heaven? No. This is one thing you got right. As you said in one of your other videos, humans are set apart from every other species on earth. We have "logic and reason", conscience, love, and gifts from God. Animals are not here soley for food.

Hmmm you should look up some of the beliefs before put them on your video . Right or wrong about there being no god, it makes the video look bad.
