What a suprise to see this video. I'm glad that you enjoyed my trees. People stop to take pictures all the time.

These trees are still there, they're so beautiful. I really don't understand the allure of this video though. Why do so many people come to see this?

What kind of Japanese Maple is this? Do you have the exact name of this variety ? I do not think this is Osakazuki (leaves appears to be much finer than that) . Could be Seiryu?

@ichoudhury007 I'm sorry, I'm unsure. Some of the others on here have posted more meaningful replies. I just liked the colors and stopped to video tape, a beautiful tree in Autumn. :-)

I have a much smaller one of these in my yard.
It grows down more than up.
It's beautiful. How do I graft one of these? Or is there another way of making another tree from it?

I am sorry, I have a different variety also. I have never been able to make a new tree from an existing one. Maybe try to search for Japanese Maple care, and see what you can find? Good luck, thank you for viewing.

The video does not allow me to see details, but I guess this is an Osakazuki. Vigorous growth, and reputedly the best autumn colors of them all. The leaves should be as for the well known "atropurpureum", or slightly larger, but green - except for in the autumn.
