In jazz, less is more. You hit that saying right on the nose man.
This is so tasteful I cant get enough of it

I think you have a great taste for what this song needs. The drums were subtle enough to not take away from the guitar but added just the right dynamic. Very nice bro.

this is the best drum over of Andy Mckee so far. You understand taste, and control. sounds great

i get your point guitarmike/friend...he´s really scared to rape it! BUT that´s only one of 3 possebilities (excuse my english!!!) i imagine a softened (and lower pronounced) vintage bassdrum for this type of drumpart, but that would require money the bloody will and skills on a sequencer for sure....wé´re not all like SheroocOre...may the devil haunt this fuckhead!!!!!!!!

Beautiful dude. Absolutely beautiful. All you need to do is play a small bit harder. You can then bring the drums down in the mix later, like guitarmike90 suggests.
But really beautiful. You were trying to be "tasteful." Well you got it bang on my friend.
Uh oh, the song is over. Right, post this and listen again! :P
Well done, keep em coming!

This is quite common when you haven't spent alot of time in studiosessions. What you're doing is playing very softly because you don't want to drown the guitar out, because you are tributing him, not accompanying. I would adivse you to play harder, and bring the drums down in the mix instead, Cymbals don't really make the right sound unless you give them a proper strike (that doesn't mean bashing, but stroking). So don't worry about being louder than the song during recording, soften it later :)
