He sure is a fast-talker. Now I'm just waiting for Tom Cruise to win his long deserved Oscar. Mr Cruise should have won at least two by now: One for "Born on the fourth of July" and the second for "Magnolia". He was also stunningly great in "Vanilla Sky".

Scientology you say? Well I'm an atheist and don't give a rats-ass if someone else even believes in Poseidon, or Thor for that matter. I mind my own business and others mind theirs and in between we are all friends.

You knew when three of the biggest directors in history (Godfather, Star Wars and Jurassic Park) came up to present an Oscar, that it was only ever going to go to one person! Well deserved Martin! :)

Francis Ford Coppola , George Lucas , Steven Spielberg , Martin Scorsese , William Friedkin , Clint Eastwood , Peter O' Toole , Jack Nicholson ... all those legends in the same room - wow ! But why was William Friedkin ignored ( at 3:37 you can see him behind Peter O' Toole ) ? He should have been honoured by presenting Scorsese the Oscar together with Coppola , Lucas and Spielberg . After all he is the director of the New Hollywood - classic " The French Connection " , which won 5 Oscars .
