Scooter (Atari 800XL)

Another game by Frank Cohen. This one's a pretty standard isometric maze game, much like Pacmania, but with slightly dodgy controls, and the ability to jump in certain places. Despite the game not being particularly good, I've always liked the aesthetic. Abstraction was much more commonplace in games at the start of the 80s, and it's something we see all too seldom these days.

It's unlikely. This game was much more well-known than.. Pack-man, or whatever it was.

I used to play this game many years ago, but I never got very far. I called the enemies in the first level "flowerpots", while my sister called them "cabbage on a doughnut". The flying enemies in the second level can be killed by jumping up.

Played that a lot back in 1985. Great game for its tome but hard to master. Thx for sharing!!!!

probably the game I remember him for most.. although a lot of it was "samey" the main character etc.hehe but made nice games
