Duncan's 10th try or so trying to climb this hill in his CRV, extremly lose gravel/rock.

So close...... just not enough power to pull itself over the edge.

  • @entertainmentstation agreed, it's AWD is for ice, snow, and the occasional mud you might get stuck in, not off-road mountain climbing.

  • @entertainmentstation Even worse is all the people that buy SUV's and use them for nothing at all. Ive driven a CRV off road several times, and its great for what is is.

  • Пузатёр!

  • Automatic transmition ?

  • tehsocks11: This isn't an example of not enough power. My first car, a 1964 VW Bug with 40 HP would have climbed that hill.

The CRV couldn't climb the hill because the 4wd system's torque delivery is biased too much toward the front wheels, and there are no traction aiding differentials (limited slip or locking).
