how do you make the dome lights flash like that?

I made two sets of dome lights, one which are dull and one which are illuminated (ambience, diffuse).
And then I put the light one inside the dark ones (both have no transparency) and make a morph target with the light ones a bigger scale to the dark ones and so the dark ones are inside the light ones.
To use morph targets in a scene, import the figure and then import the object with morph targets, delete the object. Then on time line of the figure you will find that you can use the morphs.
