Fuddy Meers is an American play by David Lindsay-Abaire. It tells the story of an amnesiac, Claire, who awakens each morning as a blank slate on which her husband and teenage son must imprint the facts of her life. One morning Claire is abducted by a limping, lisping man who claims her husband wants to kill her.

Hee hee... I can tell where some lines were changed, most likely for cultural literacy purposes (seeing as McDonald's is far more common than Friendly's worldwide, and this scene has a very nice English accent to it), but it worked well and the scene is very good. I should know - I'm in a production at my college, as Millet and Hinky Binky. Cutting myself off with a different voice repeatedly is tough...

Yeah you're absolutley right! we dont have Friendly's in NZ but McDonalds is everywhere!
