  • Bella città,luogo per vivere in pace

  • I translate your comment as "Beautiful city, a place to live in peace". I agreeit is a wonderful. We have been back and enjoyed it just as much.

  • Thank you-this brings back happiness and sadness-My wife and I took her mother of German nationality and her Dad---They got to see ther daughter in Germany and son in law who was stationed in Augsburg- . We all went to the castles and I believe stayed at the green arrow hotel, at Garmisch in the mid 70's-

  • Thanks for your comments. We loved our trip to Garmisch and look forward to the chance to go back

  • I had to split it to many words.

  • I remember the view of the mtn's-must have stayed in the same room--We didn't have video's but I took some 8mm , they were bad-

I remember the train going up and into the mtn's and close to the top of the Zugspitz mnt's. We then trammed up the last few yards.

I had my first bowl of suppe" ?

We then headed down to Garmisch for a few more days and then back to Augsburg.

The in laws are gone-they loved the trip -Thanks for the memories.

    ----Lee
