Toronto Rock Win 2011 NLL Championship (Hoisting the Cup)

On Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the Air Canada Centre, the Toronto Rock played host to the visiting Washington Stealth for the NLL Champion's Cup game!

This game would serve as a rematch of the 2010 NLL Champion's Cup game where the host Stealth defeated the Rock 15-11 to win & hoist the Cup in front of their hometown fans in Washington State!

This year, Toronto played host, and were hoping to extract some revenge against the Stealth and win the Cup in front of their fans! The Rock would go on to win the Champion's Cup with an 8-7 victory! This would be their 6th NLL Championship, their 1st NLL Championship in 6 years, and the final NLL game to be played by by retiring Rock goalie & game MVP, Bob "Whipper" Watson!
