  • mr. zakir you said god gave us pointed as well as flat teeth for both meat and veg. you're implicit in saying that pointed teeth are for meat. let me explain why it isn't.

there are many different vegetables to be eaten raw or many other fruits that you can't even bite at if you don't have pointed teeth. vegetables eg? cucumber, radish, carrot, olive... just to name a few. fruits? apple, mango, pineapple, coconut... again only a handful.

does this mean meat eating is justified?

Ahara Nidra Bhaya maithunamcha, Samanyametat pashubhirnaranam,

Gyanam hi tesham adhiko vishesham, Gyanenahinah pashubhi smana:'

"Food, Sleep, Defence, Sex, All animals are equal in these 4 qualities,

Only the knowledge of what to do and what not makes the humen different, other than this knowledge all are equal."

  • Vegetables has no teeth, made to eat. Animals or birds have souls. So it is a sin to kill somebody's body that is not attached to the ground. It is bad karma. What goes around comes around. Karma is a bitch and it will bite you in the butt.

  • i think people should respect each others beliefs and not impose thier views upon others... every person has right to choose whether he is vegetarian or non-vegetarian ... this is what Dr. zakir naik meant and you should stop fighting upon it :)

  • @arrrr7

But this is a lil complex debate and even some muslims did restrain themselves from eating animals but they still do believe they can eat their flesh. and instead of just criticising one video response by a mere muslim scholar y dun u research by urself if u r interesting in knowing y do muslims eat slaughtered animals. i guess u will find better answers.
