Just warming up while I have a gap between students. The kit I'm playing has sadly seen better days. Its the practice/teaching kit at work and its in dire need of some new skins. But hey, a bad workman blames his tools. I'm attempting to make a good sound on this kit, despite its faults, guess I like a challenge lol! I find kits like this help me make an even better sound when I get to play my nice Yamaha/Zildjian.

Drumming wise, Ive been hugely into Gospel Music for a few years now and I'm hoping some of that awesome drumming style is beginning to creep into my playing. Search for "gospel drums" to see how its really done, there's some seriously sick drummers out there.

I'm also practicing some Jazz / Fusion improvisation and trading fours.

I've also been hugely inspired by Jojo Mayer, Johnny Rabb and KJ Sawka, messing around with Drum n Bass and Electronica stuff. Check them out too if you have not already.
