....an end to life with the futile hope that alcohol would fill the "void" in his life that only can be satisifed with a relationship with the true and living God, Jesus Christ.

What a character, fascinating, enjoyable and sad... RIP Keith

What a difference... from 18 in 1964 to 32 in 1978... 14 years of self-abuse. Such an awesome player, though. The Who would never have made it without him. The drums on Who's next are killer...

He could've cleaned up. Maybe he would've. Got clean and dedicated himself to annette, the band.and his health. Who knows he could've become a bad ass drummer again.

@Chrisdrumz i agree...i don't understand y he played like an unschooled kid who'd never sat on a kit b4...His drumming prior to this had structure. He played incredible double kick runs. This must have been when he began falling apart due to drugs and booze

His need for attention helped shape his style, which fit well with the WHO, he is fascinating to watch. From this show, it seems that he was an introvert who needed chemical or alcohol assistance to give him the courage to interact with others. It is really a sad story.
Keith Moon is the real spirit of rock´n´roll...

Jesus! Hearing Keith play the drums is like listening to two drummers playing at the same time!
