Easy for those in power to send others into battle. If the leaders had to lead the charge all wars would stop. War is useless and wasteful of lives and resources. The war machine is out of control and needs to be stopped. Big Money has bought most of our politicians so that the vote no longer counts.

Support should be earned not blindly given. I supported Bush when he ran against Gore but with the wire tapping, the illegal holding of prisoners without trial in Guantinamo bay, the torture, the lies about wmd's, and the invasion of a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 or Osama bin Ladin I think it is safe to say Bush doesnt deserve my support. Obama has it but if he pulls crap like Bush then I will not support him either.

patritoism is not supporting ur country blindly, patriotism is doing whats right for your country, not supporting every action it takes regardless of right or wrong. patriotism is doing what's right for ur country, and that is questioning it.
