He's obviously still in. Yes nukes in the navy get fucked hard, that's for damn sure... but, I walked out of the navy into a damn near six figure job. Keep that in mind. If you have any kind of work ethic you would go far, and fast. E6 at four years... impossible in any other job in the military

@JgHaverty They've actually been trying to get me to go nuke. I scored a 99 on the ASVAB, and I studied physics and math in uni. Luckily, my friend is a nuke and talked me out of it. I definitely have respect for the nuke guys, because from what he's told me, the job blows. Part of me still wants to do it, but my friend and I are very similar. If he hates it, I'm pretty sure I would too. So, I'll be one of those guys who said I could have gone nuke, and it'll actually be true. :P

I made MM1 at my 5 year point, and got endless shit from top siders. They can hate away. That said, Im glad I got out! you working at a civ plant now or doing the college thing?
