High Tatry are very nice mountains, not very high, but you can find rock just about any difficulty or category. This video clip-slideshow is showing nice view of the mountains near its uppermost.
Nature there is very nice too, especially in the summertime. Winter landscape is beautiful and people there are very friendly. This is definitely very good place to do trainings for the higher peaks.
The High Tatra is a National park, UN Bioheritage area and a Eourpean BioHheritage area.
Only members of a National UIAA club are allowed to climb the Gerlachovsky peak and everywhere in the TANAP on their own.
