@terrybake My guess is that he maybe has seen only tornadoes on t.v. I'm a longtime chaser, not to say that I know all there is to know, because I don't. But in my 25yrs. of chasing, I'm seeing "newbie" chasers that are doing this because of the hooting and hollering by the "newbie" chase teams on t.v....guys that have no clue from a firsthand basis how wickedly dangerous even smaller F-0 and F-1 tornadoes can be, given the right circumstances. A chaser WILL get killed, sooner than later..imo.

Is great footage really worth you life. I know you have to risk your life but giving your life up for that is kind of ridiculous when i can see an f5 another day

What kind of jolt would it take to get through to this guy? Indifference raised to the highest degree and a marker for mad detachment, even for someone very young. Seems to be missing even the most basic instincts for self survival.

Man, watching a tornado drop near you is kinda scary. In a video you watch, you probably say "nah i aint scared" in the moment, not scared, but a little area of fear, or curiosity, or something going down your back.
