Flowers from a rosarium in Russia's Penza region which are proving a huge hit in markets across the country could now be set to conquer Europe. It is all thanks to a Dutchman who has brought the know-how and technology from his homeland and adapted it to Russia's unforgiving climate.
These are tea roses that we see here in this video. Most modern tea roses have extremely faint scent if any scent at all. I hope for the return of the true natural scented rose.
If Russia sold scented roses, they could definitely become recognized for their roses. In order for something to be a national symbol, it has to be unique to that country. Some biotechnolgy and even nanotechnology companies have talked about adding scent artificially to roses- but that violates the essence of the flower.
