Here's the thing with MLG vs IPL. The more leagues the better from the perspective of the gamers. That's why SC2 is doing so well, there's a million tournaments. The reason Halo is in the toilet right now is because MLG is the only league. Halo has no options other than MLG, SC2 and LoL do. So this whole eliminate the competition thing IS BAD for the gamers...

Good for Sundance though, but bad for the gamers.
