It's just the standard SandBox Smoove tool.

wow, what tools did you use to create the glass canopies in sketch up? this is very impressive, as are all of your sketch up vids

Thanks, Phil -- the canopy was modelled using the Sandbox tools (the landscape / Terrain modelling tools). Just modelled a surface, then duplicate-offset it by about 20mm, then drew in some lines to close the sides...that's how I acheived the 'thickness' in the glass.
