Cool but I think you can get better footage using non drift cars /watch?v=nsnEHpcthsM

@piroclips - no they're not.
-
@Jeronwong - it's not the controller, but how you drive it. Boot the tail out in a tight curve and it will flick around and go the other way.

Do the cars work on a different set (on a sport set)? Please reply to a video called scalextric 180 made by MrTOMBOTTOMS and thanks!

@spoof6977 yeah my dad use to do that also if you had a quike enouph car you could pull off a 360 on a straight away
-
so thats the point to the drift sets? The drifts are controlled by the remotes right?
-
hey im getting a scalextric track for my layout this weekend but is the controllers that come with them good or should i upgrade them as money isnt an issue
-
I have the drifting Police Range Rover with the flashing lights and siren.

The old Varney 1/32 scale cars in the 60s had a 360 degree pickup. You could lock the guide into the slot and do 180 or 360 degree spins & moonshiners turns if you were quick enough on the controller reverse switch.
how do u do tht? is it just scalextric

The cars have a rotating guide and diodes to allow a constant polarity to the motor. See Scalextric Powerslide set.
