In order to enhance VAIO Z's robustness & reliability, Sony has set especially strict criteria for quality assurance tests. These tests assume harsher conditions than would be encountered during normal business use, including accidental drops, high pressure vibrations from crowded trains, & single-point pressure from arms and elbows. The exceptional carbon structure and other various refinements to VAIO Z help assure successful completion of the tests.

  • Hey Lifematch: We have done Drop test for both New & Old VAIO Z. (With HDD & SSD). So both the models are equally robust.

  • what a no sense test, just drop it from "x" meters, and we see the result, if the vaio follow the machine, its not really dropped.

  • i think it boots that slow if its the quad ssd. i have the latest z though, but it's dual ssd instead of tri or quad, and boots in 1/4 the time compared to the video above.

  • just like they do in vaio ultimate mobile

  • this is da old vaio z. it does not hav ssd

  • Uhhh what's with the slow boot-up time from it's SSD? My Raptor drive boots faster.
